En 2016, ii a été nommé par. Sa Majesté le Roi Président Directeur General du Groupe Royal Air Maroc incluant la compagnie et les douze filiales sur les divers métiers du Transport Aerien.

Adefunke is a lawyer and advocate, focused on global and regional strategic, policy and developmental, issues. She is also a global air transport and trade facilitation expert, focused on driving value, policy reform, best practices and international standards to air transport and related sectors, businesses and government. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the prestigious University of Cambridge, United Kingdom and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Nanyang Business School, Singapore in collaboration with Wharton Business School, Philadelphia and Berkeley Hass Business School, California.
With an international career spanning over 20 years, Adefunke is recognized as one of the 50 Most Inspirational Nigerian Women. She was recently honoured as one of the 200 globally Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) in affiliation with the United Nations Decade for People of African Descent. She is also the 2021 Recipient of the Ato Girma Wake Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to African Air Transport and Trade development.
In her current role as Regional Director, External Affairs and Sustainability for Africa at the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Adefunke advocates for the sustainability of air transport, trade, tourism and business across the region, highlighting its positive socio-economic impact and value as strategic enablers and accelerators of development and growth across Africa and beyond.
Adefunke is the IATA focal point for the implementation of the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM) and a Private Sector Champion of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA), two strategic policy initiatives of the African Union designed to promote intra-African connectivity and trade to secure Africa’s integration and prosperity.
She is passionate about Leadership, Innovation, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; having been involved in many leadership and innovative initiatives at national, regional and global level. She is also an experienced resource person on Policy and Regulation, Advocacy and Gender. She is a visionary catalyst for change, a transformative leader and influencer, combining excellent advocacy and communication skills with a unique ability to motivate and inspire.
She has held several positions of responsibility through her education and career, and positively led or contributed to many key industry, organizational, sectoral or social initiatives at local, regional and global levels.
Adefunke is a member of the World Economic Forum Global Council for Sustainable Tourism, a Policy member of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, a member of the African Leadership Network (ALN), an Associate of the worldwide Institute of Directors (IoD), member of the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) and an avid supporter of the African Philanthropy Foundation. Yannick Assouad is a graduate of the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon and the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago (1985).
She joined Thomson-CSF’s Radars & Countermeasures business as an engineer in 1986, and later served as head of its thermal analysis department, then head of its thermal and mechanical engineering department.
From 1998, she was Technical Director and then Chief Executive Officer of SECAN (Société d’Études et de Constructions Aéronavales), the French subsidiary of Honeywell specialising in air conditioning systems for aircraft. She was appointed Chairman of SECAN in 2000 and oversaw the aerospace company’s recovery after the 2001 crisis.
In 2003, she joined Zodiac, initially as head of the services business of its Intertechnique subsidiary. Appointed to Zodiac Aerospace’s Executive Committee in 2007, she created the group-wide Services business segment.
In 2010, Yannick Assouad was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Zodiac’s Aircraft Systems segment, which was facing difficulties, and turned around the business through a policy of offensive innovation, centralised purchasing and lean manufacturing. During this time, she also oversaw the acquisition of the in-flight entertainment business IMS in California. In 2015, she became Chief Executive Officer of Zodiac Cabin and was appointed to the Executive Board of Zodiac.
In November 2016, she became Chief Executive Officer of Latécoère.

Brian Baird is vice president of the Commercial Airplanes Supply Chain. Named to the position in December 2021, Baird has responsibility for the overall strategy, development, contracting, performance, and daily management of the Boeing Commercial Airplanes supply chain, which supports the manufacture and service of all Boeing commercial airplanes. Baird brings thirteen years of Supply Chain leadership (thirty years experience overall) to his new position.
Previously, Baird was vice president of Operations for Supply Chain, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, with primary responsibility for supplier relationships, development and performance. Prior to that, Baird served as vice president of Aircraft Materials & Structures for Supplier Management, vice president of 787 Production Control and vice president of 787 Supplier Management.
With Boeing since 1991, Baird has held cross-functional assignments and leadership roles in Supplier Management, Business Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Finance and Corporate Development. Baird has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Montana State University, Master of Business Administration from Seattle University, and Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from Washington State University. He completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2008.

Mohamed BERRADA is a Doctor of economics from the University of Bordeaux (Phd), graduate in political science, from business school, Institute of business administration, graduate of private law, sociology, and the Institute of Demographic Studies.
Professor at Hassan II University since 1969 to date, he has served as Minister of finance, Moroccan ambassador to France and delegate to Unesco, Head of the Office chérifien des phosphates, and CEO of Royal Air Morocco.
As finance minister, he led the structural adjustment program, debt rescheduling process and negotiations Moroccan foreign exchange and carried out a multitude of structural reforms.
In 1993, he chaired the annual meetings of the international monetary fund in Washington and with the World Bank.
He is the founding President of charitable institutions for the benefit of families in precarious situation such as the Oum Keltoum social complex in Sidi Moumen, acting in the field of education, training and health, with its 2,000 beneficiaries, and the ELGHALI Cultural Complex, housing a music conservatory, a library, dance halls, a center visual arts and a theater, intended to promote creativity culture and art of young people from modest families.
Mohamed Berrada is also founding president of the research center Links in Hassan II University in Casablanca, intended to promote academic research and to help the integration of the university into its environment.

Il est Ministre d’Etat, Ministre de l’aménagement du territoire, des infrastructures de l’entretien routier depuis septembre 2022.
Cartésien, méthodique et minutieux, Jean Jacques BOUYA a auparavant occupé les responsabilités :
• de Ministre de l’aménagement du territoire, des infrastructures et de l’entretien (2021-2022) ;
• Ministre de l’aménagement, de l’équipement du territoire et des grands travaux (2016-2021) ;
• Ministre de l’aménagement du territoire et des grands travaux dans le gouvernement post nouvelle République (2016) ;
• Ministre à la Présidence de la République, chargé de l’aménagement du territoire et de la Délégation générale aux grands travaux (2012-2016).
De 2003 à 2012, Jean Jacques BOUYA exerce les fonctions de Délégué Général aux Grands Travaux et de Conseiller aux transports et à l’équipement du chef de l’État. Dr. Cheick Diarra is the Chairman of ALN. Dr Diarra is a Malian engineer, businessman, politician, and was acting Prime Minister of Mali from April to December 2012. He was the chairman of Microsoft Africa from 2006 until 2011. He is a goodwill ambassador for UNESCO and ISESCO and also served as the President of the African Virtual University, based in Kenya, in 2002 – 2003. In 1989, Dr Diarra joined the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California (a center of excellence of NASA). There, as a navigator, he participated in various missions: Magellan to Venus, Ulysses to the Sun’s poles, Galileo to Jupiter and the Mars Observer and Mars Pathfinder. He later headed NASA’s Mars Outreach Program. He studied mathematics, physics and analytic mechanics at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie. Following these, he completed a Masters in Aerospace Engineering at Howard University in Washington D.C. and completed his PHD in Mechanical Engineering also at Howard University.
In his distinguished career, Dr. Diarra has received various honours and decorations:

Bilal Ekşi graduated from Yıldız Technical University, the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering in 1989. Mr. EKŞİ accomplished significant projects, particularly in improvement of the on-time departure performance during his tenure.
Having served as the Chief Production Officer at Turkish Technic in 2008 and 2009; and as the General Manager of Cyprus Turkish Airlines as part of the reorganization of Cyprus Turkish Airlines in 2010; and as the Executive Vice President at « Turkish Engine Center (TEC) », established by the Joint Venture of Pratt Whitney, the American Engine manufacturer, and Turkish Technic Inc. between 2010 – 2011; Mr. Ekşi was assigned as the Director General of Civil Aviation in April 2011. During his tenure as the Director General of Civil Aviation, Turkey has been reelected as a member of Council of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) 66 years later its pervious membership and has become one of the 36 members in ICAO’s decision-making platform.

Ms Poppy Khoza has been in the aviation industry for just over 20 years with 18 years in senior management. She was reappointed for a second five-year term as Director of Civil Aviation (CEO) at the SACAA, effective from 01 December 2018.
She is the first woman to have occupied this position since the inception of the SACAA. She served for two years consecutively as the first woman Chairperson of the UN Agency’s International Civil Aviation Organisation’s (ICAO) Aviation Security Panel. Prior to becoming the Chairperson, she had served for 2 years as Deputy Chairperson.
Ms Khoza is a recipient of many accolades including the Aviation Sector and Regional Leader Award, Best Chief Executive Officer Awards, Top Empowered Business Leader, Public Service Leader of the year, Winner as South Africa’s Most Influential Woman in Business and Government in the Agencies and Regulatory Authorities category. She was also recognised internationally for her contribution to Aviation Safety and Security by the Centre for Economic and Leadership Development. She was also recognized by the African Civil Aviation Commission and the AFI group for her contribution to the development of civil aviation in Africa.
In June 2022, Ms Khoza became the first recipient of the Flight Safety Foundation’s Gloria Heath Award, which recognises a woman for notable achievements in civil aviation as well as her leadership in promoting gender diversity in international aviation.
Ms Khoza has championed the transformation of the SACAA, and it now boasts 50% capable women Executives, 51% female employees and 89% Black employees in the organisation.
Ms Khoza was instrumental in the initiative to host the first-ever Global Aviation Gender Summit that was hosted in August 2018 in South Africa, in collaboration with ICAO, UNESCO and UN Women.
Under her stewardship, the SACAA scooped the Best Performing Institution in Transport Award on four (4) occasions, making the SACAA the only entity to have received this prestigious accolade. The SACAA has achieved nine clean audits over ten financial years and also received six awards from the Auditor-General of South Africa for clean audit outcomes for good corporate governance. The entity was also bestowed with the Top Performing Public Service Award and was declared a Winner in the category of Investing in People at the National Business Awards. Furthermore, the SACAA is the recipient of an award as a Transformation Champion at the Oliver Top Empowerment Awards. Under Ms Khoza’s leadership, the SACAA continues to make strides in improving aviation safety and security in South Africa.

Mr. Kilavuka is the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Airways Plc. Allan took over this role right at the beginning of a very difficult time for Kenya Airways and the aviation industry in general. He is the former Managing Director of Jambojet Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Kenya Airways Plc. With over 23 years’ experience in leadership and management, and extensive knowledge and experience in the Africa business environment, Allan has proven success in new organization set ups, change management, financial planning, integrations, process improvement and company compliance and responsible strategic leadership. He was also integral to the turnaround of two GE Africa businesses: GE Power Services Africa and GE Industrial Solutions, both based in South Africa.
Allan started his career at Deloitte East Africa in Nairobi, where he specialized in Audit, Accounting, Outsourcing and Custodianship. He later joined GE as the Africa share service leader and held various senior leadership roles in GE businesses and in GE Corporate both in Kenya and South Africa.

She has also assisted several Moroccan industrial small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to position themselves in global value chains, as she has been in charge of International Markets for the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency, under the authority of the Morocco Ministry of Industry. Prior to that, Sanae held the position of Development Adviser for Africa at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Sanae Lahlou has been awarded as “Young Global Leader” 2021 by The World Economic Forum (WEF).
Advocating for inclusive growth and gender equality are also among Sanae’s career key drivers. She has been also nominated as a “Global Impact” doer by the Pan African Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Centre, and as “French-African Young Leader 2019” by the French-African Foundation. She has graduated from Sciences Po Paris and the American University Al Akhawayn. As Chief Executive Officer, Yvonne has led the airline to greater height by focusing on setting strategic priorities to reinforce the airlines’ position in the market through network expansion, operational safety and advanced customer experience. Under her leadership, she also focused on inclusion and diversity by managing effective changes to the culture and policies of the airline as well as increasing women representation in underrepresented roles.

From 1996 to 1999 he was the first Secretary General of the World Association of Cities and Local Authorities Coordination WACLAC at the same time he held the position of Secretary General of the Municipal Development Partnership, MDP from 1992 to 2006.

Mr. Samsunlu was the CFO of Akfen Holding, from 2008 until 2017, when he then joined İGA Istanbul Airport.

Sherif Sedky was born in Cairo (Egypt) in December 1969. He has over 30 years of regional and international experience in international institutions in the Middle East, Europe and the United States, where he worked at the University of California Berkeley (USA), Stanford University (USA), the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium), the American University in Cairo (Egypt), Zewail City of Science and Technology (Egypt), the University of Sharjah (UAE) and Newgiza University (Egypt).
Dr. Sedky published over 100 international referred journal and conference articles, holds 19 patents in the design and fabrication of miniaturized sensors and inertial systems, authored a book, and his H-index is 25 according to google scholar. He served on top senior executive management positions over the past 10 years where he dealt with a large body of multi-national faculty, students and staff.
Dr. Sedky built a state-of-the-art research facility that included the first clean room in Egypt and the region, which enabled building a solid microfabrication foundation in Egypt in advanced technologies.
Dr. Sedky was selected by late Nobel Laureate Dr. Ahmed Zewail to serve as the Founding Provost and Executive President of Zewail City, Egypt’s National Project for Scientific Renaissance where he was managing all academic, financial and scientific affairs. Dr. Sedky managed to build a scientific edifice composed of a world-class university and research institutes that cope with the latest developments in sciences and technology and capable of addressing the major global challenges which include, but are not limited to, epidemic diseases, renewable energy, water, space technology and environment. Currently Dr Sedky is the Chief Executive Office of the Egyptian Space Agency.
Dr. Sedky is a recipient of the Abdul Hameed Shoman Prize in 2014, and the 2007 Excellence in research and creative endeavors award offered by The American University in Cairo. He is also a recipient of the Egyptian state merit award in advanced technological sciences in 2002, and the graduate studies award from Cairo University in 1996. Dr. Sedky served on several high-level national committees for the establishment of educational and research Institutes in Egypt. Mike Sinnett serves as vice president and general manager of Product Development for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. In this role he leads the team responsible for developing future production systems, products and services. His assignment that ranges from individual technologies to derivative airplane offerings to future programs.
Prior to this role, Sinnett led Boeing’s New Mid-Market Airplane (NMA) program and the Product Strategy & Future Airplane Development team. Earlier Sinnett served as vice president and chief project engineer for the 787 program. He led the effort for 787-8 and 787-9 airplane delivery including flight test, technical configuration of the airplane, product integrity and safety. He also served as the senior chief engineer of Airplane Systems for Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
Sinnett joined Boeing in 1991 and held progressively more responsible positions in engineering, including 747 and 767 avionics and flight deck design, and avionics design responsibilities during the 777 and the Next-Generation 737 development programs. Sinnett began his aerospace career at the McDonnell Aircraft Company in 1982 in the engineering cooperative education program.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Missouri – Rolla and a master’s degree in aerospace engineering as a National Science Foundation Creativity in Engineering Fellow at the University of Missouri – Rolla. Sinnett was named a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society in March 2011, and an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics in January 2012. He was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2016.

Mr. Mesfin Tasew was appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Airlines in March 2022. He joined Ethiopian in 1984 as Associate Engineer and progressed through the ladder and served in supervisorial and managerial positions in the Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering areas. In 1997 and 1999, he was appointed as Director Operations & Technical Systems Support and Chief Information Officer, respectively. In 2006, he was appointed as Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering.
Mr. Mesfin also served as Chief Operating Officer of Ethiopian Airlines from 2010 – 2021, and Chief Executive Officer of ASKY Airlines from April 2021 to March 2022.
Mr. Mesfin also serves as a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Board of Governors. He holds BSC and MSc Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Addis Ababa University. He also holds Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Open University in the UK.

Monsieur Ali TOUNSI est détenteur d’un Diplôme d’Ingénieur Principal en télémécanique de l’Académie de l’air Tunisienne et d’un Master en gestion des aéroports de l’Ecole Nationale d’Aviation Civile (ENAC-Toulouse/France).
Il a commencé sa carrière en aviation civile en 1992, en tant qu’ingénieur d’études dans le domaine de l’exploitation des aéroports à l’Office de l’Aviation Civile et des Aéroports (OACA-Tunisie), impliqué dans les études et projets relatifs à la qualité des services, à la gestion des ressources aéroportuaires, aux futurs projets d’infrastructures et des nouveaux projets d’aérogares passagers.
Durant sa carrière professionnelle, Mr Tounsi a été directeur de plusieurs aéroports en Tunisie, Directeur de l’Exploitation des Aéroports, responsable de plusieurs projets d’extensions d’aérogares passagers, président de la commission de pilotage pour la mise en place du programme de certification des aéroports Tunisiens.
Depuis 2009, Mr Ali TOUNSI est secrétaire général de l’ACI Afrique est aussi membre au comité permanent mondial technique et sécurité représentant la région Afrique.

Hubert Védrine est le fondateur d’Hubert Védrine Conseil, une société de conseil spécialisée dans les problématiques internationales, économiques et géopolitiques.
Il est actuellement Président de l’Institut François Mitterrand.
Avant cela, Hubert Védrine a assumé les fonctions de Ministre des Affaires Etrangères sous le gouvernement de Lionel Jospin, de juin 1997 à mai 2002. De 1996 à 1997, il a été associé au cabinet d’avocats Jeantet et Associés. Il a siégé au Conseil d’Etat comme maître des requêtes en 1986/1988 et en 1995/1996, puis en 2002/2003. Il anime depuis 2003 à Sciences Po un séminaire sur la perception des menaces dans les relations internationales.
De 1981 à 1995, il a été à la présidence de la République conseiller diplomatique, porte-parole et de 1991 à 1995 secrétaire général. Auparavant, il a été Administrateur civil au Ministre de la Culture, de 1974 à 1981.
En 2020, il a été désigné par la France pour participer au groupe de personnalités chargé d’une réflexion sur l’OTAN en 2030.
Il est l’auteur de nombreux ouvrages, dont Face à l’Hyperpuissance (2003, Fayard), Continuer l’Histoire (2007, Fayard), réactualisé en octobre 2008 et traduit en anglais sous le titre History Strikes Back. Engineer YEHIA ZAKARIA enjoys around 38 years of extensive practical experience in aircraft engineering and leadership; he joined the Egyptian Air Forces in 1984 after graduation from the Military Technical College.
Over long years of experience within the Egyptian Air Forces, ZAKARIA assumed many senior positions ranging from aircraft engineer to chief engineer for all aircraft types until he concluded his service in the Air Force as Head of the Aircraft Engineers Division for five years, then Assistant to the Air Force Commander.
He gained extensive practical experience through his career, in addition to obtaining many training courses in the field of aircraft maintenance such as courses in aircraft structure and engine repair and aircraft maintenance legislation. Meanwhile, ZAKARIA is a part-time board member of a number of subsidiary companies, factories and centers of the Arab
Organization for Industrialization.
He joined EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING in 2021 as Chairman and CEO. During his tenure, the company successfully passed several inspections and expanded the scope of technical cooperation with a number of client airlines.
Throughout his career, ZAKARIA has been known for his leadership skills, solving problems, accurate planning and working under pressure along with successful communication with subordinates, and not to mention seriousness, discipline and commitment he gained from his military background. He is working on utilizing his long experience to serve the national aviation organizations develop their performance in order to internalize modern strategies in management, develop the products and improve the economic performance.
